suspicious history

This thirtysomething white male presented with a history of a solitary lesion on the trunk which had recently increased size and become darker. That’s a worrying history as far as it goes.

It looked a bit purple to me. Scope into action.

Haemangioma confirmed. Deep red to purple lacunae of blood as a global feature. No other features, no other colours. Bet your pension on it. If only diagnosis was always as easy as this.
